Road works begin on Chatham Street
Works on Chatham Street, as part of the Chatham Street/Harry Street Area Improvement Scheme Road Works, are expected to begin on July 6th, 2018.
The scheme began last September around Harry Street with the next phase now beginning on Chatham Street. Works include utility works (drainage and public lighting) followed by repaving of the carraigeway and footpath.
Chatham Street will be two way operational for the next six weeks and will operate on a shuttle system basis (traffic lights). Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Dublin City Council and the contractor, Actavo (Ireland) Ltd., apologise in advance for any inconvenience which may be caused during the course of these works, and every effort will be made to minimise disruption.
Further details on the scope of the works can be found on the council’s website
