Beware: Scam involving Dublin Fire Brigade

Dublin City Council and Dublin Fire Brigade are warning businesses about a scam currently targeting businesses in Dublin.
Dublin Fire Brigade are warning businesses to be aware of a scam in which an individual is offering advertising space in a publication they claim they are producing on behalf of Dublin Fire Brigade.
This individual makes unsolicited calls to businesses offering advertising space in a magazine they claim is produced by Dublin Fire Brigade. The money is taken from the business’ account and contact is ceased.
Dublin Fire Brigade Sports and Social Club have an official publication titled “Firecall”, produced by Ashville Media group. This is the only publication DFB are affiliated with.
