Samsung Night Run 2015
A request has been received from Samsung Electronics for the temporary closure of the following roads to facilitate the Samsung Night Run 2015:
Location 1: Customs House Quay (from Butt Bridge to Talbot Memorial Bridge) from 18.30hrs to 21.45hrs on Sunday 26th April 2015.
Location 2: Custom House Quay (from Talbot Memorial Bridge to North Wall Quay) and North Wall Quay (from Custom House Quay to Samuel Beckett Bridge) from 19.00hrs to 23.00hrs on Sunday 26th April 2015.

A request has been received from the RTE c/o Holohan Leisure for the temporary closure of the following road to facilitate the Road to the Rising Event:
- O’Connell Street Upper & Lower (Parnell Street to Bachelors Walk /Eden Quay), Dublin 1 from 06.00hrs to 20.00hrs on Monday 6th April 2015.

Dublin City Council intends to make an order authorising the temporary closure of the following roads to facilitate the St. Patricks Festival Event, during the periods listed below:

Merrion Square South – from 06.00hrs on Wednesday 11th March to 06.00hrs on Friday 20th March 2015 – this closure had previously been notified as finishing at 06.00hrs on Thursday 19th March 2015.

This temporary road closure was scheduled to take place from Wednesday 21st January 2015 to Thursday 22nd January 2015

5th February 2015 but was deferred due to adverse weather conditions/anticipated adverse weather conditions on each occasion.

Dublin City Council’s Culture, Recreation & Amenity Department intends to close the following roads; Smithfield, New Church Street, Friary Grove, Bow Street, Lincoln Lane, Nicholas Avenue, May Lane, Hammond Lane, Phoenix Street North, Arran Street, Haymarket, Blackhall Walk, Brown Street North, Burgess Lane, Arran Quay Terrace, Coke Lane and Stable Lane, Dublin 7, from 07:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs on Sunday 1st March 2015.
The temporary road closure is to facilitate the Smithfield Horse Fair Event.

James Street East and James Place East, Dublin 2.

This temporary closure was previously scheduled for the following dates but was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Alterations to Traffic Arrangements on Bishop Street from February 1st 2015.
In a bid to reduce traffic conflict at the junction, Dublin City Council will be closing access from Bishop Street onto Aungier Street/Redmond’s Hill from Sunday February 1st 2015. The closure is designed to improve traffic flow along Aungier Street particularly in light of the increased bus traffic in the area due to recent Luas Diversionary works. The closure will make it safer for both pedestrians and cyclists passing through the junction and improve the environment for local residents by reducing traffic along Bishop Street. The closure will initially be implemented for a trial period of 6 months with a view to making the closure permanent should it prove successful.
