Further Dublin Bus Strike Action Sept 23 & 24

Dublin Bus have issued a service announcement in relation to the planned industrial action taking place tomorrow, Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24.
In a statement, Dublin Bus said The Trade Unions have confirmed that the action will take place from midnight on Thursday night, September 22.
This leaves us with no option but to terminate all routes at 21.00 on Thursday night. No services will operate on Friday, September 23 and Saturday, September 24.
• On Thursday, 22 September, the final departures on all Dublin Bus services will be up to and including 9pm. This includes Airlink services. This is to ensure the safe and secure return of buses to each depot prior to the commencement of industrial action by all employees at midnight that night. • The Ghostbus Tour will operate as normal on Thursday, 22 September at 20.00.
• No Dublin Bus routes, sightseeing tours or Airlink services will operate on Friday, 23 September and Saturday, 24 September.
• Nitelink services will not operate this weekend.
The public transport operator went to on say that they have urged Trade Unions not to engage in this industrial action as it will cause further disruption to customers.
DublinTown is advising members and their staff to look at alternative public transport arrangements during this industrial action. Public transport options such as Irish Rail, Dart, Luas and the Dublin Bike Scheme are all fully operational. Dublin City car parks are also available should you need to commute to the city by car.
