Grafton Street Improvement Scheme -Phase 3 Update

Works on the Grafton Street Improvement Scheme restarted on Wednesday the 8th of January with works crews finishing off sections of the phase 2 site and also beginning work on phase 3 from after the Wicklow Street junction to Duke Street.

To facilitate Phase 3 works the following traffic management arrangements will be put in place;

Traffic will access Grafton Street lower section (Nassau Street to Wicklow Street) from Nassau Street and will exit via Wicklow Street so traffic flow on Wicklow Street, from Grafton Street to Clarendon Street, will be temporarily reversed to facilitate the exit route.

The section of Wicklow Street between Grafton Street and Clarendon Street will become a clearway to facilitate traffic flow.

Traffic will access Grafton Street middle section (Duke Street to St. Stephen’s Green North) from Duke Street or South Anne Street and exit via St. Stephen’s Green North.

Pedestrian and local access will be maintained.
