HGV Traffic Restrictions at Burgh Quay onto O’Connell Bridge

The right hand turn from Burgh Quay onto O’Connell Bridge is currently restricted for HGV (Heavy Good Vehicles) to allow for works on O’Connell Bridge.

KN Network Services Ltd working on behalf of Dublin City Council gave notice of their intention to restrict this right hand turn from Tuesday August  23rd until Friday October 7th.

This restriction is to facilitate construction works on O’Connell Bridge. As part of the traffic management plan, HGV on Burgh Quay wishing to turn right onto O’Connell Bridge will be diverted via D’Olier Street and Westmoreland Street. The right hand turn will remain in operation for cars and pedestrian access will also be maintained.
