Planned industrial action by Dublin Bus this week

Dublin Bus have issued a service announcement in relation to the planned industrial action taking place tomorrow, Thursday, September 15 and Friday September 16.

In a statement, Dublin Bus said The Trade Unions have confirmed that the action will take place from midnight on Wednesday night, September 14.

This leaves us with no option but to terminate all routes at 21.00 on Wednesday night. No services will operate on Thursday, 15 September and Friday, 16 September, including Friday night Nitelink. For more detailed information on your route visit here.

The public transport operator went to on say that they have urged Trade Unions not to engage in this industrial action as it will cause further disruption to customers.

DublinTown is advising members and their staff to look at alternative public transport arrangements during this industrial action. Public transport options such as Irish Rail, Dart, Luas and the Dublin Bike Scheme are all fully operational. Dublin City car parks are also available should you need to commute to the city by car.
