Temporary restriction of traffic movements on Parnell Street

To facilitate works required for the Luas Cross City Utilities Contract, it will be necessary to restrict traffic movements on Parnell Street. For a period of 8 weeks from 19th March 2015, Parnell Street between its junctions with O’Connell Street and Parnell Square West will be reduced to a single lane westbound and the right turn from Cavendish Row / Parnell Square East will be prohibited. To facilitate the movement of public transport through the area and to maintain access to businesses and car parks along Parnell Street, motorists travelling to the south of the city are advised to use alternative routes. Some alternative routes are highlighted on the enclosed map.
