Creative Quarter
Dublin’s Creative Quarter is an area stretching from South William Street to George’s Street and from Lower Stephen’s Street to Exchequer Street.
The area has a long standing history dating back to the 18th century of specialist design, and hosts exceptional artisan boutiques, studios, cafés and restaurants.
Dublin’s Creative Quarter demonstrates how an area can rebrand itself into a sought after Dublin district through business collaboration and, appropriately, creativity. Since its creation, vacancy in the Creative Quarter has dropped significantly and has been recognised as the Creative Quarter on the Fáilte Ireland maps. The area, which includes the Dame District, was awarded the Purple Flag in 2013 and successfully retained this status in 2015.
The Creative Quarter is a hub of design creativity and innovation, there are plenty of inspiring and exciting places nestled in the area waiting for you to explore. It is home to an eclectic mix of shops, cafés, galleries, restaurants, creative businesses and plenty more.
