ADF Productions Ltd intends to close the following street to facilitate filming operations:

  • On race day, Monday 27th October 2014 from 08.55 to 16.45 hrs, rolling road closures (managed by the Gardai) will take place along the Marathon route: Fitzwilliam Place, Leeson Street, St. Stephen’s Green South, Cuffe Street, Kevin Street, The Coombe, Meath Street, Thomas Street, High Street, Lord Edward Street, Essex Quay, Merchant’s Quay, Usher’s Quay, Usher’s Island, Victoria Quay, Frank Sherwin Bridge, Parkgate Street, Phoenix Park, Chapelizod, Inchicore Road, South Circular Road, Crumlin/Drimnagh/Walkinstown Roads, Kimmage Road West, Fortfield Road, Templeogue Road, Terenure Road East, Orwell Road, Dartry Road, Milltown Road, Clonskeagh Road, Stillorgan Road, Nutley Lane, Merrion Road, Shelbourne Road, Haddington Road, Northumberland Road, Mount Street Lower and Merrion Square.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is considering the temporary closure of the following roads to facilitate this event:

Monday 27th October 2014

CLONSKEAGH ROAD from 09.00 to 17.00
ROEBUCK ROAD from 09.00 to 17.00
FOSTER’S AVENUE from 09.00 to 17.00
STILLORGAN ROAD (R138 Dual Carriageway),North from the junction with Foster’s Avenue and via the UCD Flyover to the County Boundary from 09.00 to 17.00

Local diversion routes will be in place.

  • On race day, Monday 27th October 2014 from 08.55 to 16.45 hrs, rolling road closures (managed by An Gardai Siochana) will take place along the Marathon route, from City Centre, O’Connell Street, to North Circular Road, Phoenix Park, Chapelizod, Inchicore Road, South Circular Road, Crumlin/ Drimnagh / Walkinstown Roads, Kimmage Road West, Templeogue Road, Terenure Road East, Orwell Road, Dartry Road, Milltown Road, Clonskeagh Road, Fosters Avenue, Stillorgan Road, Nutley Lane, Merrion Road, Shelbourne Road, Grand Canal Street and Pearse Street.

  • South city traffic from Stillorgan Road wishing to access City Centre, will be diverted via Mount Merrion Avenue, Rock Road, Merrion Gates, Strand Road, Beach Road, Irishtown Road, Ringsend Road and Pearse Street.
  • North city traffic from Finglas Road and Ballymun Road, wishing to access City Centre, will be diverted via Whitworth Road, Dorset Street and Gardiner Street.
  • Traffic diversions will vary as the race proceeds.
  • Pedestrian access will be maintained.

A request has been received from GMC Utility Group for the temporary closure of the following street to facilitate Luas Cross City  works:

  • Molesworth Street (from Dawson Street to Molesworth Place), Dublin 2 from 00.00hrs on Monday 3rd November 2014 to 24.00hrs on Friday 5th December 2014.

  • Traffic on Molesworth Street and Molesworth Place wishing to travel on Nassau Street will be diverted via Frederick Street South.

New Wapping Street, Dublin 1.

The City Council’s Project Management Office intends to extend the closure of the following street to facilitate major drainage construction works:
  • New Wapping Street (from Sheriff Street Upper to Mayor Street Upper), Dublin 1 from 0.00hrs on Saturday 25th October 2014 to 24.00hrs on Friday 19th December 2014.
This is an extension to the existing temporary road closure which was due to end at 24.00hrs on Friday 24th October 2014.
