Dominick St Lwr – change in direction of travel

Permanent changes are being made to Dominick Street Lower to facilitate the new Luas Cross City line.
From May 28th, 2017 Dominick Street Lower will be a one-way street to cater for traffic travelling in the southbound direction only. This will be from Bolton Street / Dorset Street Lower junction traffic will travel southbound only along Dominick Street Lower to the Parnell Street junction.
The following traffic alterations will be in place to accommodate the change in direction of travel on Dominick Street Lower;
Bolton Street
»» Traffic travelling eastbound on Bolton Street may turn right onto Dominick Street Lower
Dorset Street Upper
»» Traffic travelling westbound on Dorset Street Upper may turn left onto Dominick Street Lower
Dominick Lane
»» Traffic travelling eastbound on Dominick Lane must turn right onto Dominick Street Lower
Dominick Place
»» Traffic travelling westbound on Dominick Place must turn left onto Dominick Street Lower
Parnell Street
»» There will be no entry to Dominick Street Lower from Parnell Street.
Dominick Street Lower
»» Traffic on Dominick Street Lower may turn right onto Dominick Lane
»» At the junction with Parnell Street, traffic on Dominick Street Lower must turn left onto Parnell Street.
Parnell Street / Parnell Square West junction
To coincide with the change in direction of Dominick Street Lower the temporary left turn ban from Parnell Street to Parnell Square West will be lifted on the same date. From 28th May traffic travelling eastbound on Parnell Street must turn left onto Parnell Square West.
