Group Waste Scheme for the BID Area Proposal

Dublin City BID is investigating the possibility of introducing a Group Waste Scheme for the BID area. This is in direct response to feedback from members who have experienced difficulties with waste collection.
In the UK, similar schemes have worked with great success when operated by BID companies, providing savings and better control to the business community through effective partnership with a waste contractor. We believe this could also provide an important part of the solution to waste management problems, making the city centre a more attractive place for customers, ensuring a quality and on-time collection regime and offering a cost saving for BID members.
