Happy 2024

  • Wed 03 January, 2024

We hope that all our member businesses had a good Christmas period and New Year’s Eve.

As we look ahead now at the beginning of 2024, a small reminder of member services available and how to access them:

Cleaning and Power Washing

We have three cleaning teams (Northside, Southside and a night team who operate Thursday to Sunday until 4am) that operate in the city centre. These teams operate on a reactive/by request basis to respond to issues raised by businesses or DublinTown staff.

Their cleaning remit includes powerwashing, litter picking, removal of hazardous waste (human/other), drug paraphernalia and other general cleaning issues.

If there is an issue on your street that needs the attention of the cleaning team please email info@dublintown.ie or on weekends call our office number on 01-6334680.

Graffiti Removal

To request graffiti removal, email info@dublintown.ie with your name, business, street and a picture of graffiti to be removed. Requests are added to a list that are actioned chronologically. Please note: graffiti on stonework or heritage buildings may require us to refer the request to specialised contractors, which can delay the time needed to action.

Marketing Support

DublinTown.ie and its related social media accounts have a huge online reach to the general public and highlights the best things to do in the city centre. Our customer facing website also includes a business directory, which when linked to your website can help improve SEO.

Our marketing team can also highlight your business on our Instagram page, share your exciting news or offers to our “stories” and help increase visibility of your business.

Email info@dublintown.ie to find out what support you can avail of or to update your business listing.

Operations

DublinTown regularly link in with Dublin City Council (their traffic, public realm, waste departments, etc.), An Garda Síochána and other organisations to discuss activities in the city centre.

If you have questions or issues and are not sure of next steps, reach out to us via info@dublintown.ie to discuss.

Please include an appropriate phone number for further discussion when contacting.

Training, Webinars & Other Membership Activities

DublinTown regularly organises training sessions on activities such as First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, Social Media and more. Class registrations and new dates are sent out via this mailing list. New dates for the above will be organised presently.

Other trainings and webinars, such as those on sustainability, energy usage and transport are also periodically organised, with details sent out via this mailing list.

Anything Else + Questions

Thanks to the reach of our member and organisational network, our extensive experience in the city centre and ongoing engagement with governmental figures – if there is an issue or concern you would like raised or feedback on that is not included in the above, please get in contact to discuss. A member of our team would be delighted to discuss further.

DublinTown would like to thank all for their ongoing engagement and support in making the city centre a better place to visit, shop, work and live.

We look forward to working together in what will be a productive and resilient Dublin city centre in 2024.
