Large Waste Compactor Installation & Bin Bag Updates

Members may have seen works or reporting related to the installation by Dublin City Council of two large waste compactors in the Grafton Street and Temple Bar areas.
It is intended that they will be operation from early September – which will mean that the previously proposed restrictions regarding bin bags will come into effect (starting with the south side of the city).
DublinTown has requested further information and will update businesses once known.
It would be advisable for businesses who use bin bags for collection to begin contacting their waste removal company to confirm future arrangements.
