Luas Cross City works will disrupt traffic flow on O’Connell Bridge this weekend
As part of Luas Cross City works there are significant road works planned for this Saturday night (May 7th) from 9pm into Sunday afternoon that will cause considerable disruption to traffic flow on O’Connell Bridge and on approaches from Westmoreland Street and Dame Street along with the approaches from the north and south quays. Road users are warned to expect delays and are advised to take alternative routes through the city where possible.
Similar road works are also scheduled for the following weekend Saturday 14th May from 9pm into Sunday afternoon with the added restriction of the right turn from Burgh Quay onto O’Connell Bridge being suspended during the works. Diversion routes and signs will be in place along with advanced warning of works on all approaches.
