Manual Handling & Fire Safety Training with Olive Safety

DublinTown provides in-person training, provided by Olive Safety, who run an extensive range of safety training courses that help to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
They provide a QQI (formerly FETAC) accredited experienced Level 6 instructor who will train about the aspects and consequences of Manual Handling and Fire Safety, both of which are certified.

Manual Handling
This course is designed to instruct participants in the safe lifting and manual handling of loads. The course will also educate how to safely approach and risk assess loads in the workplace and beyond along with the different types of manual handling injuries and how they occur.

In order to successfully gain a certificate of competence in Manual Handling, learners must complete the Manual Handling course and then complete a assessment with a certified Manual Handling Instructor.
Fire Safety
Under both the 1981 Fire Services Act and Regulation 8 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 your business is required by law to provide staff with adequate fire safety training. This course will cover all the fundamental elements of fire safety and prevention.
This course helps develop a culture of fire safety and prevention among employees. It looks at legislation and the duties of employees and employers towards ensuring fire safety.
