Outdoor Cinema Brought Superheroes to DublinTown

As part of the Summer in DublinTown range of activities, Sunday August 10th 2019 saw superheroes, cinema screens and local traders gather on Wolfe Tone Square for a day of free fun family activities.
Showcasing a superhero double-feature (The Incredibles & The Avengers), Wolfe Tone Square had plenty of happy families running around getting their face painted, playing with giant Jenga sets or having their photo taken in a novelty photobooth.
FM 104 broadcast live from the event and families had the chance to meet the everyday heroes of the Emergency Services with their fire truck and Garda vehicles.
DublinTown would like to thank all those who attended on the day and helped make it so much fun.
Local businesses were also in attendance as part of a market that DublinTown had organised in the square. These local businesses included Gino’s Gelato, Papa John’s, Camerino Bakery, The Church, The Tram Café, Cineworld, Eason, Shauna’s Pet Shop, Spar Liffey St, Sub City Comics, Outdoor Adventure Store and The Hot Donut. DublinTown would like to thank all of them for being in attendance and helping promote DublinTown as a place for families to visit and enjoy the day.
From the positive feedback we received from businesses on the day we hope to see similar events take place in the DublinTown district in the future.
