Temporary Closure of Dawson St/Nassau St Junction from Oct 3

Luas Cross City wish to advise businesses that the Dawson Street/Nassau Street Junction will close to vehicular traffic and cyclists between Duke Street and Nassau Street from October 3rd for four weeks.
This is to facilitate Luas Cross City works at the junction of Dawson Street and Nassau Street. Diversions will be in place during these works. Traffic accessing Nassau Street from Dawson Street Vehicular traffic and cyclists should take either:
- Dawson Street , turn right onto Molesworth Street and left onto South Frederick Street. or
- Take a right on St Stephens Green North at the Shelbourne Hotel onto Kildare Street and take second left onto Molesworth Street and first right down South Frederick Street.
Local access and all vehicles up to 3.5T to continue onward past the junction with Setanta Place and turn right onto Nassau Street. All other vehicles to turn right onto Setanta Place and right again onto Kildare Street and follow road around onto Merrion Row to exit the area. All Traffic for Duke Street Vehicles and cyclists will be required to access Duke Street from Dawson Street. However to exit, vehicles must turn onto Duke Lane and exit via South Anne Street. Commercial vehicles may exit via Grafton Street from 5am to 11am only. All pedestrian movements will remain as normal. Traffic diversion signage will be in place for the duration of the works.
