Temporary Road closures – Clarendon Street and Wicklow Street

Dublin City Council has advised that to accommodate the road works at Johnson Court and Wicklow Street they believe they will need to put in place the following measures. Following a request received from The City Council’s Road Construction Division, Dublin City Council is considering the temporary closure of the following roads to facilitate road resurfacing works:

Clarendon Street and Wicklow Street (from Exchequer Street to Clarendon Street), Dublin 2 from Sunday 16th August 2015 to Thursday 20th August 2015.

Night-time closures only between 20.00hrs to 06.00hrs each night.

In addition to the traffic management plan as detailed on the webpage below, pedestrian and local access will be maintained during the period of the closure.

Any person may lodge an objection, in writing, to Dublin City Council, Environment & Transportation Department, Block 2 Floor 6, Civic Offices, Wood Quay, Dublin 8 or by email to roadworks.control@dublincity.ie.The closing time and date for receipt of objections is 12:00 midday on Wednesday 29th July 2015.
