Traffic changes to Henry St put on hold

Traffic changes to facilitate Luas Cross City works at Henry St/O’Connell St junction have been put on hold until after the St. Patrick’s Day Festival.
Luas recently gave notice of traffic changes on this junction to all delivery vehicles from January 30th for up to six weeks, however, this has now been postponed. The team at Luas Cross City made the decision to put the works on hold because they could not guarantee the street paving would be complete in time for the St Patrick’s Day annual celebrations on March 17th.
In the meantime, they will be working on local sites like Princes Street and on the edges of Henry Street but there will not be any impact on the flow of traffic.
It is likely that the original diversion will be in place after St Patrick’s Day. DublinTown will keep members affected by this up-to-date with any further information we receive.
