Talbot District

The Talbot district extends from O’ Connell Street East to Amiens Street and from Cathal Brugha Street to the Quays.

Talbot District collage for websiteIt is well known for its range of retails stores, bars, and restaurants. It borders on Ireland’s Financial Services Centre (IFSC), and provides a wide variety of offerings for workers in that area. The Department of Education, the Irish Independent newspaper offices, the Pro- Cathedral and the Abbey Theatre are all located in the district. The area is a busy transport hub with one of Dublin’s main railway stations, Connolly station and Dublin’s central Bus Station Busáras being located here as well as being serviced by the Luas Red and Green line.

The Talbot Area is currently working to create and promote its own personality and brand in coordination with the  DublinTown team.
